Wordless Wednesday! 1st January 2014 (odd writing that)

Collection of photos from last nights New Years Eve party we had at home. Just a small gathering to bring in the New Year with a BBQ Dinner. My Mum & Brother joined us but piked out at 11pm as Mum kept dozing off over her glass of wine {We don't drink often!}   Hayley, Nicholas & Indigo managed to see the new year in playing Scrabble Twists & Turns & enjoyed the party poppers at midnight. 

This morning they are all up early,  which might make for an interesting {cranky} day. But in true Jan 1st tradition, were off to the beach! Enjoy the first day of the year, however you spend it xx 

Wordless Wednesday - Wednesday 29th May 2013

Today's pictures come from the past two weekends! We purchased some 'end of season' VIP passes to Seaworld, Movieworld and Wet & Wild, so have spent the past couple of weekends visiting each of the parks.  So far we have been to Sea World twice & Movieworld once.. it's a bit too cold for Wet & Wild so we probably won't get to that before the end of June when the passes expire! We've been to all the theme parks before, but the kids never tire of it and it was exciting taking Charlie along as he's older and could go on a few of the rides in the kids sections (these rides are more my style anyways!)

Wordless Wednesday - Wednesday 3rd April 2013

On Monday we took the kids to Alma Park Zoo in Dakabin, Queensland.  As an official start to kicking off the school holidays & also ending a fantasic Easter long weekend.  

It was the second time we have visited the Zoo and the kids really enjoy the laid back atmosphere and I am always astounded at how quiet it is, you literally have most exhibits to yourself both times we've been.  Thoroughly recommend it to locals and for those visiting the area. Like most places I go to, I wonder why we never got to go earlier!

Wordless Wednesday January 30th 2013 {Flooding}

Today the sun is shining & you would never know that our town faced flooding again this week. Alike everyone I feared a repeat of 2011 & although the water thankfully fell short I guess it is no less devastating for those once again affected. These pictures were taken on Monday 27th January a few hours before the river peaked. Thinking of all those affected.. My heart goes out to you all. Xx
